Alison Davies is now our principal adviser following John’s retirement, specialising in pension and investment advice.

She is a keen traveller and enjoys skiing and cycling holiday.  She has taken on challenges including ‘Ride the Night London’ raising funds for national cancer charities.   Currently her obsession is the game of pickleball, playing 4 or 5 times a week with Oswestry Picklers.

Alison was a Manager at the Colwyn Bay and Chester branches of Abbey National (now Santander) and has over 40 years’ experience in financial services joining the firm over 20 years ago.

John is now retired from the business.

As well as having his name above the door, John Davies is well known in the local community, being a Past President of Oswestry Rotary Club; Past Chairman of Oswestry Round Table. A rugby enthusiast, John is Past President and Treasurer of Oswestry Rugby Club. Although his rugby playing days are now behind him, John is never happier than when cheering his beloved Wales.

A retired Bank Manager with over 40 years in financial services, John has over 15 years as an Independent Financial Adviser.

Marc Davies is an experienced and fully qualified advisor working with mortgages, lifetime mortgages (a form of ‘equity release’), Protection, Wills and Lasting Powers of Attorney.

An enthusiastic musician, Marc is an active member of the local music scene performing locally and beyond. He also enjoys mountain biking and regularly takes part in events including the local Dairy Pak Challenge.

Marc continues to study towards becoming a fully qualified IFA, and has a background working in education as a lecturer and teacher.

Sheanne Markham is the office administrator and receptionist.

In her spare time, Sheanne enjoys reading and going for walks with her family in the lovely Shropshire countryside. She is also an enthusiastic crocheter and especially enjoys her amigurumi projects. Her newest creative passion is junk journalling and she enjoys nothing more than spending a couple of hours losing herself in pretty paper, lace and stickers.

Before joining John Davies Investments she worked for several years as a manager in the retail sector
